Rosemarie Gertrud Walters, 74, of Marshall, IL passed away 9:04 AM Sunday, April 10, 2016 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN.

She was born Sept. 24, 1941 in Lechtin, Germany, the daughter of Kurtis Richard Karl and Martha Gertrud Viek Matschke. She married Curtis C. Walters on Oct. 24, 1962 at Marshall, IL.

Surviving are her children, Konstanze “Connie” Cooper , Curtis (Jeannie) Walters, Kathleen Winkler and Ronald Walters all of Marshall and Kenny Walters of Paris, IL; grandchildren, Bryant Winkler, Jacob Winkler, Amanda Truelove, Gayle Hudak, Peyton Walters, Sonny Walters and Adeli Walters and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

She loved animals and also loved to cook.

Graveside services will be 5:00 PM Wednesday at Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 to 4:45 PM Wednesday at Pearce Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made to pearcefuneralservices.com.
