Ruth A. Baker, 94, of Marshall, IL passed away 2:20 PM Friday, Aug. 26, 2016 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute.

She was born Feb. 21, 1922 in Clark Co., IL, the daughter of Frederick and Minnie Haddix Baker.

Surviving are two sisters, Norma Jean Staggs of Bedford, IN and Jane Sanders of Marshall; a sister-in-law, Sharon Baker of Marshall and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, George and three sisters, Juanita, Doris and Mary Lou.

Services in honor of her life will be 1:30 PM Tuesday at Pearce Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Cooper officiating. Burial will be in the Darwin Cemetery, rural West Union. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Tuesday. Online condolences are being accepted at pearcefuneralservices.com
