Shaun R. Woolard, 29, of Marshall, IL passed away Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 in an automobile accident south of Marshall.

Having graduated from Culinary School he had been a chef in various restaurants in Phoenix, New Orleans and played trumpet in various clubs in New Orleans. Shaun was born March 28, 1987 at Terre Haute, IN.

Surviving are his mother, Terry Snyder Peel; one brother, Jared Peel of Marshall, IL; a sister, Shannon (Keith) Bastian of Ft. Branch, IN; two nephews, Jarrett and Reid and his companion, Donna and her children, Isabel, Sarah and Natalie. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Madelyn Gale and his father, Robert.

Services in honor of his life will be 5:00 PM Monday at Pearce Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3-5 PM Monday. Burial will be in the Harrison Cemetery, rural West Union. Memorial contributions may be made directly to his family. Online condolences are being accepted at pearcefuneralservices.com.
