Shirley Jo Heatherly, 83, of Marshall, IL passed away at her home at 7:10 PM Friday September 28, 2018. She was born on February 15, 1935 in Clark Center to Glen Fredrick and Audrey Archalena (Claypool) Shade. She was married to Charles Heatherly, who preceded her in death on October 14, 2008. She was a retired farmer. Shirley is survived by her daughter Debra (Howard) Oransky of Marshall, IL., one son Glen (Violet) Heatherly of Martinsville, IL., five Granchildren Stacey (Matt) Herrington of Marshall, IL., Brandy (Luke) Fulkner of West Terre Haute, IN., Kasey (Jonathan) Heatherly of West Union, IL., Jessica (Matt) Meuser of Marshall, IL., and Dustin (Erin) Oransky of Marshall, IL., Nine Great Grandchildren Katelyn Herrington, Dylan Herrington, Ember Fulkner, Aiden Fulkner, Ethan Fulkner, Jadyn Heatherly, Kaleb Heatherly, Audry Meuser and Genevieve Lucille Meuser. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marshall, St. Mary’s Helping Hands, and loved to garden especially flowers. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marshall at 11:00 AM Tuesday October 2, 2018. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time.
