Stanley Kraemer, 79, of Marshall, IL passed away 10:00 AM Friday, July 24, 2015 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN.

He was retired from the Operating Engineers. Stanley was born July 13, 1936 at Hutsonville, IL, the son of Stanley Kraemer and Eunice Matheny Kraemer. He married Rhonda Lynn Nail on Dec. 28, 1996 in Las Vegas, NV.

Surviving are his wife, Rhonda; a son, Stanley R. (Judy) Kraemer of Clinton, IN; a daughter, Kelly Lewis of Terre Haute, IN; a step daughter, Melissa Nail of Marshall, IL; a step son, James Kennedy Jr. of Marshall, IL and three grandchildren, Darcy Kraemer, Hopelynn Hochstetler and Capri Hopkins. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Kraemer and a sister, Pat Emanus.

He was a veteran of the US Marines and was a member of the American Legion at West Union, IL and Operating Engineers Local #841.

Memorial services will be 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Congregational Church of Marshall with Pastor Tim Duke officiating. Cremation has been accorded. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until service time Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made directly to his family in care of Pearce Funeral Home.
