Thelma A. Davis, 75, of Marshall, IL passed away 4:30 PM Monday, April 6, 2026 in Marshall Rehabilitation and Nursing at Marshall.She was born April 5, 1951 at Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Bert Collier and Ardith Tingley Collier. She married Richard Davis on June 21, 1977 at the Marshall Church of the Nazarene and he preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 2022. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jocelyn Davis; a brother, Vern Chapman and two sisters, Wanda Carmen and Letha McCarty. Surviving are four children, Angela Snodgrass (Steve), Aaron Davis, Eric Davis (Erin) and Rachel McCalister (Harry); ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; a sister, Marolyn Hollinrake and a brother Don Collier (Donna). Thelma was a life long member of the Marshall Church of the Nazarene and a 1969 graduate of Marshall High School. She stayed with her faith till the end of her life and loved to read the the Bible.Thelma will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Services in honor of her life will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 15 at the Marshall Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made directly to her family to assist them with the purchase of a monument for she and her husband's grave.
