Tracy A. Ledermann, 48, of Marshall, IL passed away peacefully 12:48 PM Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at her home with family and friends by her side after courageous battle with cancer which she had for five years. She was born Jan. 12, 1964 at Evansville, IN, the daughter of James and Joyce Granby Gwyn. She married Del Ledermann on August 10th, 1984 at Marshall, IL. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Amanda (Christopher) Crocker of Robinson, IL and Samantha Ledermann of Ashmore, IL; her parents of Marshall; two granddaughters, Avery Joyceann Crocker and Alison Grace Crocker; a grandson, Chase Alan Brady; a sister, Sara (Tim) Thompson of Martinsville, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Clayton Eugene Brady; her grandparents and several aunts and uncles. She was a graduate of Marshall High School and obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Lincoln Trail College in 1985. She worked several years in the emergency rooms at both Paris Community Hospital and Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. She was later employed by the Burnsides Community Health Center for many years as a nurse. She became Director of Nursing at Burnside and later became MDS Coordinator at Burnsides. She had a gift of caring for others that will not soon be forgotten. Tracy touched the lives of many residents and their families in the community. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and "Nana". Services in honor of her life will be 6:00 PM Saturday at Pearce Funeral Home at Marshall, IL with Rev. Krista Price officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
