Truman L Scott, age 78, of Marshall, IL passed away at 9:55 AM Monday April 25, 2016 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.

He was born on September 1, 1937 in Marshall, IL to William Earl and Reba R. (Long) Scott.

He was a retired Pipeline Welder.

Mr. Scott is survived by one son Stewart Lee (Jennifer) Scott of Ashland, MO; one daughter Shari Scott of Springfield, MO; one granddaughter Samantha Lee Scott of Palmira, MO; three sisters Margaret Thompson of Chrisman, IL, Martha Warner of Marshall, IL, and Alice O’Neal of Dallas, TX. And several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by four Brothers and two sisters.

He was a member of Clark County Post #90 of the American Legion, VFW Post #5975, Pipeline Union Local #798, Former Marshall, IL Police Officer, and had been a farmer in Missouri.
