Virginia M. Thompson Waller Bradford, 82, of Georgetown, IL, formerly of Marshall, IL, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the Presence United Samaritans Medical Center at Danville, IL surrounded by her loving family following a two year battle with cancer at 10:25 AM Saturday, August 8, 2015.
Virginia was born June 4, 1933 and was a homemaker and known by many of her close friends as the "Bunny Lady". She married Theodore W. Bradford on June 10, 1977 at Marshall, IL.
Surviving are her husband, Theodore; her children, Marion Dale Waller of Attica, IN, Harold (Belva) Waller of Oliver, IL, Vern (Irene) Waller of Casey, IL, Larry (Judy) Waller of Marshall, IL, Dorothy Washburn of College Station, TX, Charles Jeffries of Paris, IL, Michael (Jerri) Waller of Westville, IL, Margaret Winton of Paris, IL, Tom (Pam) Waller of Paris, IL, Allen Bradford of Michigan, Theodore Wayne (Tina) Bradford Jr. of Centerville, OH and Tina (Brian) French of Trilla, IL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Harold Waller and children, Clyde Waller Jr., Robert Lester Waller, Edith Davis, William Dean Waller and Richard Allen Waller. She was a member of the Pleasant Mound Church of Christ at Georgetown, IL and enjoyed going to garage sales.
Services in honor of her life will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall with Bro. Paul Kent officiating. Burial will be in the Livingston Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials in her name be given to the Pleasant Mount Church of Christ.
