Waneda Macke Finkbiner, 86, of Marshall, IL passed away 11:34 PM Monday, June 17, 2013 in the Burnsides Community Health Care Center at Marshall. She was formerly employed by Formalite in Marshall and was retired from Coil Sales of Marshall. She was born June 25, 1926 in Wabash Twp. of Clark County, Illinois, the daughter of Harry Macke and Nellie Baggs Macke. She married Fenton "Diz" Finkbiner on June 25, 1952. Surviving are her husband, Fenton; two brothers, Fenton Macke and Leon (Norma) Macke both of Marshall; a sister, Wilma (John) Hoggatt of Marshall; three sisters-in-law, Eleanor Macke, Elizabeth Macke and Delores Macke all of Marshall and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Herbert Macke, Norman Macke, Glenn Macke, Herschel Macke, Wayne Macke and Virgil Macke and three sisters, Ruby Jane Macke, Dorothy Macke and Mary Linton. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Marshall. She and her husband loved to travel and she was a magnet and earring collector. Services in honor of her life will be 12 Noon Thursday at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall with Bro. John Cutshall officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Burnsides Community Care Center.
