Wilma O. Morgan, 103, of Marshall, IL passed away 2:45 AM Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 in the Burnsides Community Care Center at Marshall, IL.

As one of the eldest residents of Clark Co., IL, she was born in the Avon School Building of Clark Co., IL on September 22, 1911, the daughter of Lyman Booth Thompson and Christine Koppler Thompson.

Surviving are a son, William (Joy Frances) Morgan of Crossville, TN; four grandchildren, Layman Morgan, Ricky Milton, Cheryl Milton and Kabel Morgan; three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Lyman Thompson Morgan; a daughter, Elizabeth Morgan Milton; a grandchild, Barbara Milton; two brothers, Vern Thompson and Ray Thompson and a half brother, James Thompson.

For many years she resided in the Martinsville, IL area and later moved to the Marshall, IL area in the 1960's.

Services in honor of her life will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Pearce Funeral Home with her nephew, Glen Dale Thompson, officiating. Burial will be beside her husband in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
