Alice Van Amburg, 87, of Terre Haute, IN passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015 at Westminster Village Health & Rehab in Terre Haute.

She was born Feb. 10, 1928 in Herculaneum, Missouri, the daughter of the late William Martin Miller and Ruby Adele Polson Miller. She is survived by a daughter Donna (Vaughn) Edwards of Marshall, IL; a son, Ross (Colleen Aaberg) Van Amburg of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; brother, William O. "Bill" (Rodean) Miller of Kirkwood, MO and grandchildren, Ben Edwards, Joann Edwards, Margaret Alice Van Amburg and Andrew Van Amburg.

Alice worked variously for Woolworth's, Gallup Poll, Sear's and Mid-American Bank in Naperville, IL. Throughout her life she loved to travel and visited many places including Europe, the Panama Canal, Alaska and most of the United States. She was an avid bridge player and gardener. She will be missed by her family.

Graveside services were conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City, MO. Memorials in her memory are preferred to Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation, 7240 Chase Oaks Blvd. Plano, TX 75025.
