Anna E. Shinville, 90, of Marshall, IL, formerly of Sterling, IL and Morrison, IL, passed away 12:33 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2026 in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care at Terre Haute, IN. One of eleven children, she was born Aug. 27, 1935 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the daughter of Abelicio Sandoval and Lillian Stela Baca Sandoval. On Feb. 10, 1958 she married Gerald Terrance “Jerry” Shinville and he preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 2025. In addition to her husband, parents and several siblings, she was preceded in death by two sons, Terrance Gerald Shinville and Michael Patrick Shinville. Surviving are three children, Susan (John) Saxton of Kansas, IL, Jacqueline (Paul) Didier of Chicago, IL and Padric (Karen) Shinville of Bloomington, IL; six grandchildren, Thomas, Laura, Katie, Ian, Rachel and Haley and eight great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marshall, IL and Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Sterling, IL. She was a graduate of Regina School of Nursing and was a registered nurse. Anna was an avid golfer and reader. One of the highlights of her life was the annual horse camp with many of the family. Private graveside services will be held Riverside Cemetery (Sacred Heart) at Sterling, IL.
