Arthur Allan Zschau, age 83, of Terre Haute, IN formerly of Marshall, IL passed away at 11:30 PM Wednesday April 18th 2012 at the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on December 2 , 1928 in Marshall, IL to Max and Anna Marie (Matthews) Zschau. He married Emily Spurgin on November 27, 1955 in Terre Haute, IN. He was the retired owner of Zschau's Flower Shop in Marshall, IL. He is survived by his wife Emily of Terre Haute, IN; One daughter Susan (Terry) Loudermilk of Terre Haute, IN., and one son Jeff Zschau of Terre Haute, IN., Two grandchildren Molly and Benjamin and his fianc̩e Crystal. A sister-in-law Sue Renolds and special friends Bob and Linda Carpenter. He was preceded in death by four brothers Eddie, Raymond "Zeke", Max, and Harry. He was a member of Clark County Post #90 of the American Legion, VFW Post #5975, Marshall Lions Club, and Grace United Methodist Church in Terre Haute. He was an avid fan of the Cardinals, Boston Celtics, and Indiana State. He loved Horticulture and working outside. Funeral Services will be held at Maple Ave United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM Eastern time Tuesday April 24th with Rev. David Rockhill and Rev. David Deal Officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Central Time Monday evening at the Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall, IL and at the Church after 11:00 AM Eastern time Tuesday.
