Betty L Beard, age 96, of Marshall, IL passed away at 10:25 AM Saturday January 8, 2022 at Horizon Health in Paris, IL. She was born on July 21, 1925 in Dennison, IL to Fred and Rachel (Clauss) Kasemeyer. She married Wayne Beard on November 1, 1947 in Clark County IL. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1988. She is survived by five daughters Linda Claypool of Marshall, IL, Beverly “Bea” (Larry) Cornwell of Marshall, IL, Debra (Dan) Harper of Marshall, IL, Betty Jo (James) Forsythe of Utah and Tammy (Donald) Remlinger of Marshall, IL; 13 grandchildren, 27great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by two sons Dennis and Brent Beard:, five brothers Kenneth Kasemeyer, Fred Kasemeyer, Russell Kasemeyer, Norman Kasemeyer, and Karlos Kasemeyer and. two sisters Ruth Scott, and Joann Campton. Funeral Services will be held at the Pearce Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Thursday January 13 with Rev Tim Duke Officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery.
