Carolyn M. Tingley was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025. Carolyn was born July 14, 1945 in Pontiac, MI. She was the daughter of the late Herbert A. and Margaret L. Madson. She is survived by her husband, Charles Tingley and a son Andrew Tingley. Carolyn and Charles married September 27, 1969 at Union Lake Baptist Church in Union Lake, MI. Carolyn is survived by brother, Arthur (Sherron) Madson of Midland, MI. She is also survived by Betty (late Edward), Nancy Roan (Bob), Ruth Ann (Greg) Jennings, Janesville, IA and Susie Tingley, Marshall. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn enjoyed reading, gardening, cats and having lunch with the Library Ladies. She graduated from Walled Lake MI Schools and worked as a Library Technician for the Waterford MI Schools.

Carolyn was involved in starting the Awana Club Ministry at Marshall Baptist Church in 1999 and served as director until 2017-18. Arrangements have been made with Pearce Funeral Home and cremation has been chosen and a Family Funeral will take place later.
