Cheryl L. Boyd, 65, of Marshall, IL passed away 6:00 AM Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 in the Burnsides Community Care Center at Marshall.
She was an interior decorator. Cheryl was born Feb. 26, 1949 at Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Hobart and Audrey Lycan Eitel.
Surviving are her children, Melissa Nosler of Grape Creek, IL, Matt Boyd of Lyford, IN, Mark Boyd of Marshall, Il, Michael Boyd of Marshall, IL and Marty (Jenny) Boyd of South Bend, IN; her grandchildren, Ashley Nosler, Madison Nosler, Emma Nosler, Aulden Boyd, Siara Stuckey, Myah Boyd, Kevin Boyd and Jackson Boyd; her great grandchild, Trevor; her siblings, Judith Hollenbeck of Marshall, IL, Jackie White of Grape Creek, IL, Carla Geno of St. Louis Co., MO and Charles Stephen Eitel of Robinson, IL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jane Eitel and Sandra Nehren.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Marshall. She was a 1967 graduate of Marshall High School and received a degree in interior decorating at the Ray Vogue College of Design of Chicago, IL. She loved to decorate, do needle point, antiquing and going to auctions. Cheryl was constantly making and providing items for family and friends. She loved her family and was true and loyal in attending school and the sporting events of her children.
Services in honor of her life will be 10:00 AM Friday at Pearce Funeral Home with Bro. John Cutshall officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall Public Library.
