Dalane Paul Garver, 72, of Madison, AL, formerly of Marshall, IL, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017. He had formerly been employed at JI Case, Sony, Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant Security and Cornerstone Word of Life Church. Dalane was born Dec. 5, 1944 at Martinsville, IL, the son of Jesse and Linnie Cartwright Garver. Surviving are his wife, Kaye Sutton Garver; a daughter, Robin Garver of Tulsa, OK; a son, Mark (Rhonda) Garver of Madison, AL and a granddaughter, Destiny Garver of Madison, AL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Dallas, Billie and Bobbie. He was a member of the Cornerstone Word of Life Church where he was an usher and an active member and volunteer. He had also graduated from the Bible Institute of the church. He was a graduate of Marshall High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golf, skeet shooting and had a passion for mowing. Services in honor of his life will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Pearce Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Vermilion Cemetery of Edgar County with military graveside rites conducted by Clark Co.
