Daniel Neibarger III, 69, of Paris, IL, formerly of Marshhall, IL passed away 11:18 AM Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015 in Regional Hospital at Terre Haute, IN after an extended illness.
He had been an area grain and livestock farmer his entire life and for the last 15 years had been a truck driver.
Dan was born Nov. 20, 1945 at Terre Haute, IN, the son of Daniel Neibarger Jr. and Helen Buehler Neibarger. He married Margaret L. Glatthaar on Aug. 22, 1965 in the Methodist Church in Grandview of Edgar Co., IL.
Surviving are his wife Margaret "Peg"; two sons, Daniel J. Neibarger of Grandview, IL and Troy J. Neibarger of Pocahontas, IL; a daughter, Stephanie A. Neibarger of Marshall, IL; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Young of Paris, IL; a granddaughter, Alexis J. Neibarger of Paris, IL; several step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a brother, Dee R. Neibarger of Marshall, IL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Rae Dennis and a brother, K. Dudley Neibarger.
He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association of Terre Haute, IN and loved antique John Deere tractors. He was a 1964 graduate of Martinsville High School.
Services in honor of his life will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Billie Ray Ulrey officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
