Diana L. Bailey, 79, of Marshall, IL passed away 7:05 PM Monday, June 22, 2026 in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care at Terre Haute, IN. Diana was born Jan. 28, 1947 at Effingham, IL, the daughter of Orville and Edith Madlem Brooks who preceded her in death as well as her husband, David Bailey, who preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 2021 after 32 years of marriage. Surviving are a daughter, Megan (Kenny) Wineinger of Sullivan, IN; a son, Zack (Kendra) Bailey of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Mary Bailey, Kendra Wineinger, Michael Wineinger and David Bailey; two sisters, Marilyn (Conrad) Idleman of Effingham, IL and Karen (Don) Torbeck of Mattoon, IL and several nieces, nephews a great nieces and nephews. Known for her warm personality and gentle spirit, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marshall, IL and the United Women of Faith. Diana was a 1965 graduate of Casey High School. Services in honor of her life will be 12 Noon Saturday, June 27th at Pearce Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Lymphoma/Leukemia Foundation.
