Don Kesler Jr., 93, of Marshall, IL passed away 2:55 AM Sunday, October 10, 2021 in Marshall Rehabilitation and Nursing at Marshall. He was the former owner and operator of Broadway Auto Body at Denver, CO. Don was born Feb. 1, 1928 in the Livingston area of Clark Co., IL, the son of Don and Gladys Newlin Kesler Sr. In 1996 he married Helen Franklin and she survives. Also Surviving are three children, Michael Don (Angela) Kesler of Wheatridge, CO, Eric (Janis) Kesler of Marshall, IL and Penny (John) Button of Delhaven, NC; a step-daughter, Cindy (Bob) Croft of Clearfield, PA; grandchildren, Sarah (Shune) Walters of Lakeworth, FL, Jake Kesler of Wheatridge, CO, Graham (Kate) Button of Washington, DC, Mary (Erin)Button of Portsmith, VA and Eric Lee Kesler of Paris, IL; a special grandchild, Joelee Martin of Marshall; three step grandchildren, Rebecca (Graham) Perry of St. John, New Brunswick, Johnny Croft of Dover Delaware and David Croft of Clearfield, PA; three step great grandchildren, Nathan Perry, Eli Perry and Micah Perry all of St. John, New Brunswick; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Kesler of Marshall and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother , Hugh Kesler and the mother of his children, Mary Leach. Don served this nation in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Eighth Street Wesleyan Church at West Terre Haute, IN. Services in honor of his life will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Pearce Funeral Home. Burial, with military graveside honors, will be in the Livingston Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.
