Eleanor Marie Davidson, 101 of Marshall,, IL passed away 8:45 AM Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 in the Burnsides Community Care Center at Marshall, IL.

She was born Jan. 8, 1913 at Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Edward L. and Katherine Slaven Murray. She married Robert Davidson on Jan. 27, 1938 at Marshall, IL and he preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1984. Surviving are a son, Daniele (Nancy) Davidson of Marshall, IL; grandchildren, Robert (Julie) Davidson of Marshall, IL and Suzanne (John) Veltri of Clarksville, TN; great grandchildren, Michael Andrew Davisson, Sydney Davidson, Vince Dominick Veltri, Luke Veltri, Alicia Veltri and Lauren Veltri,; two great great grandchildren and a sister, Mary Evelyn (Ben) Hale of Clinton, IL. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one infant son, three brothers, Edward Murray, Maurice, Murray and William Murray and a sister, Edna Murray.

She was a devoted member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Marshall and had also been with the quilting club of the church for many years.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Marshall with Rev. Mike Haag officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery at Marshall. Visitation will be one-hour prior services at the church on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to The Bells of St. Mary's or to Helping Hands of the church.
