Health Care Center at Casey, IL. He was formerly a foreman at Chesty Foods at Terre Haute, IN and was the former owner and operator of the Corner Tavern in Marshall. He was born Nov. 5, 1939 at Keystone, IN, the son of Elwood Harshman and Jemima Schwartz Harshman. He married Patricia Lovell on Sept. 7, 1957. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Debbie (John) Mullen of Marshall, IL and Rhonda Downey of Martinsville, IL; a son, Chris Harshman of Marshall, IL; three sisters, Juanita Ross of NC, Martha Johnson of AZ and Irene Kelly of Muncie, IN; three brothers, Tom Harshman of Winamac, IN, Kenneth (Lynn) Harshman of Chicago, IL and Jim (Ann) Harshman of Bluffton, IN; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was a graduate of Petroleum High School at Bluffton, IN. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E., loved playing basketball, avid coon hunter and Harley rider. He was a veteran of the US Army. Military services in honor of his service to this country will be 12 Noon on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall with the services being conducted by Clark Co. Post #90 of the American Legion and VFW Post #5975. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
