George F. Moss, 81, of Marshall, IL passed away 9:27 PM Sunday, August 17, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was a retired mechanic and famer. He was born June 7, 1933 at Shelbyville, IN, the son of James Moss and Opal Denney Moss. He married Nancy J. Brewster in June of 1956 at Springfield, IL. Surviving are his wife; three children and their spouses, David and Janet Moss, Vicki and Kevin Altmeyer and Brian and Connie Moss all of Marshall, IL; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

George enjoyed fishing, loved the Lord, reading the Bible and spreading the Word of God.
