Harry Lee Carmin, 86, of Imperial, MO, formerly of Casey, IL passed away passed away 10:59 PM Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016 in St. Anthony Hospital at St Louis, MO. For many years he worked in the steel mills in Northern Indiana and later was a footwear salesman.
Harry was born July 1, 1930 at Hammond, IN, the son of Dorrie L. and Julia D. Tinkle Carmin. He married Wanda L. Chapman who preceded him in death on May 24, 2007. Surviving are a daughter, Celeste (Douglas) Bell of Imperial, MO; two grandchildren, Ethan Bell and Elyse Bell-Edwards and a sister, Jean Deem of Texas. He was preceded in death by one brother.
He served this nation in the US Coast Guard during the Korean War. Services in honor of his life will be 1:30 PM Friday at Pearce Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post #5975 and Clark Co. Post #90 of the American Legion.
