Hobart L. “Hobo” Tingley, 84.of Paris, IL passed away 4:45 AM Monday, Oct. 10, 2016 in Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare at Paris.

He was born April 29, 1932 at Martinsville, IL, the son of Rueben and Elsie Claypool Tingley Sr.

Surviving are two daughters, Beverly Tingley and Cheryl Johnson both of Paris; a brother, Howard (Becky) Tingley of Mattoon, IL; two sisters, Sharon Wheeler of Mahomet, IL and Betty Biggs of Decatur, IL and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Darrell Tingley and Rodney Tingley; a grandson, John Sweet; a granddaughter, Tina Sweet; two brothers, Rueben Tingley Jr. and Robert Tingley and two sisters, Helen Tingley and Ferne Compton.

Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Thursday at Marshall Cemetery with Pastor Billie Ray Ulrey officiating. Visitation will be 12 Noon until 1:15 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
