James E. Shadwick JR, 59, of Marshall, IL passed away 10:00 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at his home.

He was employed by Christensen Farms as a herdsman.

He was born May 11, 1956 at Mattoon, IL, the son of James E. and Jacquelyn Owen Shadwick Sr.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Johnson Shadwick; three children, Jessica Eileen (Tom) Lane of Neoga, IL, Joseph Just-in-Tyme Shadwick and Matteo James Shadwick both of Marshall; grandchildren Trevor Thomas Lane and Dylan Caleb Lane; a sister, Brenda (Bob) Stoke of Toledo, IL; nephews, Steven Andrew Shadwick and Shane Michael Stoke; a great nephew, Cooper James Stoke and a great niece, Addison Mae Hillis. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Steve Shadwick; a sister, Patricia Ann Shadwick and a niece, Amanda Jo Shadwick.

He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and camping.

Services in honor of his life will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Pearce Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12 noon until service time Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to Lung Cancer Research. Online condolences are being accepted at pearcefuneralservices.com.
