James E. Wilson, 82, of Marshall, IL passed away 3:21 PM Saturday, June 3, 2017 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN. For many years he was employed at Jones Tool & Machine and he retired from NCI. Following his retirement he was employed by the Super Wash in Marshall for 16 years. Jim was born Aug. 24, 1934 in rural Clark Co., IL, the son of Harvey and Marie Burkett Wilson. He married Susie Blum in 1968 at his parents home in Marshall. Surviving are his wife, Susie; children, Patty (Rick) Colclauser of Coal City, IL, Jeff Wilson of Marshall, Jed (Cindy) Wilson of Seneca, IL, Tina (Brenton) Gard of Martinsville, IL and John (Fiancee'-Lori Rhoads) Wilson of Martinsville, IL; a daughter-n-law, Loretta Wilson of Gardner, IL; brothers, Rex Wilson of Martinsville,IL, Dwight Wilson and Mike Wilson both of Marshall, IL, Robert Kramer of Minnesota and a sister, Lois Brosman of Marshall, IL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Wilson; a brother, Don Wilson and sisters, Kay McMahon, Linda Arnold and Louise Hendrix. He was a devoted member of the Five Points Christian Church, Antique Tractor Club and was a graduate of Marshall High School. Services in honor of his life will be 10:30 AM Thursday at the Five Points Christian Church with Bro. Mike Elliott officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday at Pearce Funeral Home and also one-hour prior services at the church on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Five Points Christian Church.
