Jane Stepp, 92, of Marshall, IL passed away 6:15 PM Thursday, May 14, 2014 at her home.
She was retired from TRW at Marshall after 40 years of service.
Jane was born Feb. 12, 1923 at Marshall, IL, the daughter of Otto Clatfelter and Leota Millhouse Clatfelter. She married Paul Stepp on June 2, 1942 at Martinsville, IL and he preceded her in death on August 16, 1992.
Surviving are a son, Larry (Margaret) Stepp of Marshall, IL; a daughter, Paula Sullivan of Marshall, IL; a brother, Jim Clatfelter of Marshall, IL; four grandchildren, Chris (Tim) Bloodworth, Jeanenne Stepp, Noel Stepp and Amy (Mike) Roads; 15 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; one on the way and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Rob Sullivan and Greg Stepp; a son-in-law, Bob Sullivan and a sister, Joan Thompson.
She was a member of the Marshall First United Methodist church where she had taught Sunday school for many years. She also helped with tutoring and the Power Club.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at the Marshall Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
