John W. Garner, 79, of West Terre Haute, IN, formerly of Clark Co., IL passed away 8:42 AM Sunday, April 5, 2026, in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care at Terre Haute, IN. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force. Following retirement he was involved in trucking. John was born August 11, 1946 at Terre Haute, IN, the son of Charles Garner and Clara L. Binkley Garner who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, John Fash; a daughter, Trina Fash and a brother, Charles David Garner. Surviving are his wife, Marsha. J. Conour who he married October 4, 1967; a son, John E. Garner; three grandchildren, Logan Garner, Mattie Fash and Joey Fash and a sister, Virginia English.
