THIS OBITUARY IS BEING RERUN DUE TO AN ERROR IN DATE OF VISITATION Kay Williams, 75, of Marshall, IL passed away 3:11 AM Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center at Mattoon, IL. Kay was born Dec. 11, 1944 at Clarksville, the daughter of Oscar and Lucille Morecraft Kirchner. She married Richard Williams on Dec. 27, 1961. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Eric Williams; a daughter, Gena Shonk; a grandson, Keegan Williams and siblings, Reba Buckner, John Kirchner, Deloris Maurer, Judy Rhoads, Pearl Mollett and Connie Cooper. Surviving are her husband; children Pamela (Kevin) Sullivan of Darien, IL and Kevin (Anissa) Williams of Marshall, IL; grandchildren, Stephanie Williams of Marshall, IL, Elizabeth Drexler of Montgomery, IL, Natalie Shonk of Collinsville, IL and Alicia and Desmond Williams both of Marshall, IL; great grandchildren, Kieran Washburn, Kylie Kennedy, Addison Drexler and Dylan Drexler and many nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Marshall High School, had been a Pikes Peak 4-H Club member, the Singing Sam’s and the guild of Marshall Rehab and Nursing. Visitation will be 3-8 PM MondayTuesday at Pearce Funeral Home. Covid 19 guidelines will be followed and it is requested those in attendance wear face coverings and make their visit short so more can attend in a timely manner. A private funeral service will be Tuesday with burial following in the Clarksville Cemetery. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Clark County 4-H Foundation.
