Keith Duane “Peacorn” Ferris of Marshall, IL passed away at his home on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016.

Keith was born on Sept. 4, 1951 at Marshall, IL, the son of Charles William and LeVera Jo Ferris.

Surviving are his children, Cindy Jo (Pat) Hall and children of Ft. Worth, TX, Sheena Leigh Hanson of Marshall, IL, Clyde Duane (Bobbi) Ferris and children of Terre Haute, IN and Dusty Paul Ferris and children of Paris, IL; several loving grandchildren; siblings, Lloyd Ferris of Indianapolis, IN, Michael Ferris of Charleston, IL, Richard Wallace of CA, Rita Michael of Indianapolis, IN, Judith Ferris of Paris, IL, Billie Joan Wallace Ferris of Indianapolis, IN and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Dean Ferris, Woody Ferris, Charles Robert Ferris, Paul Wallace, Robert R. Wallace, Lewis E. Wallace, Melba Schartel and Katherine Grubb.

Keith served in the US Marines for a short time. He lived life to the fullest. He loved to play guitar, sing and enjoyed NASCAR.

Memorial services will be 1:30 PM Sat., Nov. 26th at Pearce Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 Noon until service time.
