Larry Lee Johnson, 77, of Marshall, IL went home to the Lord 10:55 AM Monday, Feb. 10, 2020 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN. He was born Aug. 4, 1942 at Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN, the son of Jack and Reba Wheaton Johnson. He and Connie Hughes started dating at age 12, they married at 18 and have spent 58 loving years together as husband and wife. Larry was a Green Bay Packers fan. He loved to fish and golf and was a loving family man. Family was always first and he loved all his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Connie; three children, Larry Joe (Michele) Johnson, Troy (Cindy) Johnson of Marshall and Carmen (Cory Hutson) Johnson of Paris, IL; grandchildren, Kyle (Emily) Johnson, Kaleb (Jessica) Johnson, Ashley (Levi) Gard, Travis (Hayden) Johnson, Adam (Samantha) McGrew, Riliegh-Mae (Dylan) Marshall and Mika Daley; great grandchildren, Ava Johnson, Karsyn Johnson, Finley Johnson, Harper Johnson, Jayse Gard, Koy Gard, Tripp Johnson, Gannon McGrew, Deegan McGrew, Linkin McGrew and one on the way; a brother, Roger (Cindy) Johnson of Brazil, IN; a sister, Barbara (Tim) Morgan of Riley, IN; special friends, Chuck and Carolyn Carlson and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kristen Johnson. For many years he was employed at S-Tec Computer Services and was retired from Union Hospital.
