Lauren M. Peak, 43, of Marshall, IL passed away 6:46 PM Saturday, May 30, 2026 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN following a courageous battle with cancer. Lauren was born March 24, 1983 at Titusville, FL, the daughter of Keith Wallace and Leslie Lewis Wallace. On May 25, 2016 she married Shannon Peak at Terre Haute, IN. Surviving are her husband, Shannon; a son, Sam Rupska of Terre Haute, IN; two step-daughters, Katie (Justin) Baker of Marshall, IL and Julie (Kyle) Giebeig of New Smyrna Beach, FL; her father, Keith Wallace of Martinsville, IL; two sisters, April (Gary) Kauffman of Arthur, IL and Robyn (Matt) Rasnick of Woodstock, GA and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nancy and Gary Peak of Marshall, IL. She was preceded in death by her mother and two sisters, Jessica and Jennifer Wallace. She was employed in the office of G&S Asphalt Inc. in Marshall. She was always fond of her cats and enjoyed painting. Public graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 5th in Ridgelawn Cemetery at Martinsville, IL.
