Linda J. Edwards, 75, of Marshall, IL passed away Thursday, Dec 11, 2025 in Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center at Indianapolis, IN. She was born Nov. 3, 1950 at Paris, IL. Surviving are two daughters, Marilea Edwards Plew of Marshall, IL and Melissa (Art) Edwards Bruder of North Webster, IN; a son, Charles Kevin Edwards of Georgia; a sister, Winnie Cooper of Paris, IL; a brother, Ernie Rhoads of Paris, IL; 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Saunders; her parents, Joseph and Mary Hobson Leininger; a brother, Randy Rhoads and two sisters, Jackie Lindsey and Brenda Rhoads. Her last job was in the kitchen at Casey's in Marshall. She had previously worked at Arkay Plastics and the Burnsides Nursing Home. Form time to time was a waitress at several area eating establishments. Linda loved gardening, cooking for her family and serving others. Services in honor of her life will be 4:00 PM Saturday, Dec. 20th at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Art Orndorff officiating. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
