Lucille Emmons, 79, of Terre Haute, IN passed away 12:18 AM Friday, May 13, 2016 in Regional Hospital at Terre Haute.

She was born June 30, 1936 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Charles and Sarah Elkins Fritz. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Fred L. Washburn, Russell Nichols and Virgil Emmons.

Surviving are three children, Gloria Sue Parhan of Cocoa, FL, Fred L. Washburn Jr of Palm Bay, FL and Janet Cooper of Terre Haute; siblings, Ann Stutz and Robert Fritz of Escondido, CA; 11 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren and a special friend, Sue Kennedy. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Fred L. Washburn, Russell Nichols and Virgil Emmons; two sons, Gary Washburn and Russell Nichols and several siblings.

She was a member of the Wayne Newton Post #346 Auxiliary.

Services in honor of her life will be 1:00 PM CDT at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall, IL. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Tuesday and after 11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family in care of Pearce Funeral Home.
