Marilyn K. Duzan went home to be with her Lord 3:12 PM Friday, August 29, 2014 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN.
She was born December 30, 1944 at Danville, IL, the daughter of Dale Mains and Kathleen Nabors Mains. She married George Oval Duzan Jr. on Sept. 25, 1964 and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2006. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jimmy Dale Mains and Reggie Bruce Mains.
Surviving are two children, Riley Dean (Carol) Duzan of Marshall and Kayla Marie Duzan and her fianc̩e , Alex Arrasmith of Paris, IL; three grandchildren, Michael Dean (Mona Kay) Duzan, Patrick Wayne Duzan and Andrew Dale Duzan; four great grandchildren, Connor Michael Aiden Duzan, Kaydance Olivia Grace Duzan, William Lee Edwards Watson and Malkakhi Alexander Watson; four brothers-in-law, Bob Duzan, Carroll Duzan, Terry (Dawn Mead) Duzan, Ronald (Debbie) Duzan; two sisters-in-law, Priscilla Wallace and Roberta (John) Jenkins and several nieces and nephews.
What Marilyn loved most was doing things with her family. Her hobbies included bowling, crocheting and her dogs. She was a member of the Marshall Baptist Church where she worked for several years with the Awanas. She had many friends and loved to talk on the telephone. She was retired from TRW.
Services in honor of her life will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at the Marshall Baptist Church with Bro. Gene Ellis officiating. Burial will be beside her husband at the Clarksville Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday at the church.
