Marjorie R. Gustafson, 88, of Marshall, IL passed away 3:00 AM Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 in the Burnsides Community Care Center at Marshall.

She was born July 5, 1926 at Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Elvin Newton Donaldson and Enid Ruth Chriss Donaldson. On Dec. 22, 1954 she married Rolland D. "Gus" Gustafson and he preceded her in death on March 25, 1996. Surviving are three sons, Michael (Sue) Gustafson of Dennison, IL, Robert (Cinda) Gustafson of Kokomo, IN and Richard (Cartha) Gustafson of Marshall, IL; grandchildren, Allison Gustafson, Christopher Gustafson, Eric Gustafson, Laura Gustafson, Randall Gustafson and Dallas Gustafson and two great grandchildren, Kyla and David Gustafson. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters.

She had been a member of the Clark county Home Extension and she loved to sew and make stuffed animals and dolls.

A special joy in her life was her dog Sammy. Services in honor of her life will be 10:00 AM Friday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Ferhman officiating. Burial will be beside her husband in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
