Mark D. Banet, 58, of Paris, IL passed away 11:56 PM Saturday in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN. He was formerly employed with his father in the carpet installation industry. Mark was born Dec. 17, 1960 at New Albany, IN. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother Elmer J. (Viola) Banet Sr.; his mother and step-father, Doris J. (Walter) Line and a brother Ricky. Surviving are his wife Margaret VanNess who he married June 4, 1994 at Paris, IL; a daughter, Toni (Cory Sr.) Gundrum of Portalnd, IN; grandchildren, Cory Gundrum Jr., Kathryn Gundrum, Olivia Gundrum and Annisyn Gundrum and his siblings, Deborah (Earl) Evans of Paris, IL, Brenda Lou (Ronnie) Dean of Farmers Branch, TX, Elmer (Tania) Banet Jr. of Farmers Branch, TX, Sterling (Bobbie Jo) Banet of Lincoln, IL and Jeremiah Line of Texas and several nieces and nephews. He loved to fish, listen to music, play video games and will be remembered for decorating envelopes prior to mailing. No services will be held.
