Martha H. Hargis, 78, of Marshall, IL passed away Monday, July 13, 2026 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN. She was born June 15, 1948 at Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Martin L. Fisher and Norma R. Cooper Fisher. On July 1, 1966, she married James D. Hargis at Marshall, IL and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2024. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are two daughters, Jamie Honemann and Julie Murphy and a grandson, James Honemann. She was retired from Charles Industries and was a 1966 graduate of Marshall High School. Private graveside services will be held at the Marshall Cemetery with Pastor Billie Ray Ulrey officiating.
