Mildred Irene Williams Medsker was born January 28, 1924 to Perry and Eunice Carpenter Jackson and passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017. She was the youngest of 10 children. Mildred grew up on the family farm near Choctaw School and Church where she met her husband, Woodford Williams. They were married Aug. 30, 1940 in St. Charles, MO. They were the parents of three sons, Richard Gene, Joe Lynn and Roger Jackson were raised on the farm. Woody and Mildred were married 44 years before he passed away. She later married Russell Medsker and he passed. She spent her last years with close Friend, Elbert Miller before he died. She is survived by son, Richard (Kay) Williams; daughter-in-law, Jackie Williams; son, Roger Williams (Cindy) Moreton; grandchildren, Pam (Kevin) Sullivan, Kevin (Anissa) Williams and Brian (Dawn) Williams; great grandchildren, Stephanie Williams, Elizabeth (Steve) Drexler, Natalie Shonk, Alicia Williams, Desmond Williams, Kodie Williams, Brittany Williams, Tiffany Williams, Kennedy Williams, Jason Lane, Chad Lane and Carrie Pritchett; great great grandchildren, Kieran Washburn, Kylie Kennedy, Addison Drexler and a little one coming in October. Besides her husbands waiting for her in Heaven, she will be welcomed by her son, Joe; granddaughter, Gena Shonk; grandson, Eric Williams and great grandson, Keegan Williams. She was an active Home Extension member for many years, Singin’ Sams and she and Woody loved to square dance. She was a member of the Marshall Baptist Church. Services in honor of her life will be 10:30 AM Monday at Pearce Funeral Home. Burial will be in Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Sunday.
