Pauline Miller from Marshall, IL was born January 14, 1941 and passed March 21, 2024. She was a devoted wife to Eli for 60 years. Their three children and their spouses, Curtis & Rene Miller, Janice & Shawn Hull and Kimberly & Russ Swan were blessed with the BEST!. No grandchildren were loved more than her nine and their spouses, Curtis & Kasha Miller, Jessica Bartnick, Nicole & Luke Sweitzer, Courtney & Jeremy Campbell, Merissa & Lane Brown, Clay Hull,Madison Swan, Nathan Swan & Baby, Landon Swan who greeted her in Heaven. As much as she delighted in her grands, that love seemed to multiply with the arrival of her greats, Maddie, Arland, Easton, Laken, Kennedy, Atlas & a baby girl on the way. Pauline and Eli married in April of 1964 and spent a few years in Gary, IN and Marshall before purchasing their farm where they have lived for over 50 years. Together they built a welcoming home where countless memories have been created by many friends & family. Pauline embraced farm life. She loved gardening, sewing, canning, mushroom hunting & we mustn’t forget the chickens! She was even spotted on the tractor occasionally. Pauline’s love for the Lord was apparent. She was a member of the Marshall Church of Christ. That love compelled her to the kindness and generosity that she spread throughout her community with her involvement in Bunco, Optimist Club, Red Hat Society and volunteering at the Marshall food and clothing pantry. Her friends at Illinois Cereal Mill in Paris and Sony DADC in Terre Haute enjoyed working with Pauline where she was the payroll clerk for 15 years at each place. Pauline was always willing to help her friends and family. One way she did that was by preparing their taxes. Pauline was the 2nd born of 9 siblings. She’s preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Gertie Renfrow, her sisters, Linda & Josie Renfrow and her brothers Lee Renfrow and John Renfrow. She’s survived by her husband and kids and siblings Corene Vice, Rosie Baroni, Charles Renfrow, Brenda Cusick and Wanda and Roy Sweet, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Randy & Carol Miller and many nieces and nephews who were all very special to her.
