Randal L. Beltz, 71, of Marshall, IL passed away 10:58 AM Thursday, June 4, 2026 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN. A generous person as he was even following his death several organs were given to others so they might live. Prior to being employed at Marathon Petroleum Co. at Robinson, IL he was an electrician in Marshall, IL. Randy was born Oct. 22, 1954 at Terre Haute, IN, the son of Dwight T. Beltz and Maxine Pruiett Beltz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Bucher. On July 8, 1972 at Marshall, IL, Randy married Elizabeth Jennings. Surviving are his wife Beth; three children, Travis (Joyce) Beltz of League City, TX, Jessie (Kevin) Engledow of Marshall, IL and Phillip (Amie) Beltz of Marshall, IL; grandchildren, Brenna (Rob DeBerry) Beltz, Zia Beltz, Leighton Beltz, Sophia Griswold-Beltz, Kai Engledow, Zara Engledow and Nya Engledow; a great grandson, Robert Morley; a sister, Sandy (Ben) Johnson of West Terre Haute, IN; and two brothers-in-law, Greg (Ruth Ann) Jennings of Finchford, IA and Chuck (Lana) Bucher of Palm Coast, FL. Randy was a member of the First Christian Church of Marshall and was a 1972 graduate of Marshall High School. He started playing in the Marshall City Band at the age of 14 and played for many years. Randy would often be seen attending various sporting events and school activities involving his children and grandchildren. Services in honor of his life will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 9th at Pearce Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Livingston Cemetery.
