Ruth Irene (Bradley) Lunn was born on Dec. 19, 1939 and passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at approximately 4:45 AM and will be laid to rest on Friday, June 6th at 12 Noon CST at Auburn Cemetery, rural Marshall, IL. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard C. Lunn who was born on Feb. 15, 1934 and passed away April 7, 2020; her parents, Marie A.Shotts Bradley and Leslie Leon Bradley and brother Leslie Gerald "Jerry" Bradley and his wife, Janet. Survivors include a daughter, Jeannette M. Grove (husband, Chris Grove) of Peoria, IL; son, Richard B. "Rick" Lunn of Peoria, IL; daughter, Judith K. Burns of Cincinnati, OH; son, David C. Lunn (wife, Amy Lunn) of Noblesville, IN. Also surviving are grandchildren, Cole R. Davis, Marie K. Burns, Ryan B. Lunn (wife, Becca Lunn), Hunter D. Rayle and Megan K. Lunn and great grandchildren, Gunnar Rayle and Owen R. Lunn. Ruth was a very caring, gentle, loving and intelligent woman who loved her family. She volunteered for the Meals on Wheels charity in the early 1980's and was committed to her passion for learning and reading by spending a large part of her professional life as a library attendant at the Lake County, IN Library at Crown Point, IN and at Indianapolis Public Libraries at the Indianapolis and Franklin RD Branch. While at the Franklin RD Library, Ruth was instrumental in advancing the Summer Reading Program for children. Interred and laid to rest on the same day, is husband and father, Richard C. Lunn, (the Covid Pandemic event prevented the family from engaging in a proper burial service). Preceding Richard in death were his parents, Richard J. Lunn and Ellen J. Lunn. Surviving Richard is James H. Lunn (wife Gloira Lunn), nieces and nephews.
