Stephen Owen Dennis, 71, of Marshall, IL passed away at his home on October 3, 2026.He was born November 7, 1954 at Clinton, IN, the son of Harold Owen Dennis and Lupato Choleva Dennis. Steve started his working career being employed by Jewel Foods in Chicago, IL and had been employed by North American Lighting and had also helped area farmers. A true animal lover, he would often be seen with his cat that he pushed around town in a covered stroller. Surviving are siblings, Jack (Helen) Dennis of Ft. Wayne, IN, Mike (Shirley) Dennis of Fishers, IN and Vicki (Bill) Crawford of Plano, IL as well as many friends in the community. Services will be held at a later date.
