Sue Ann Burson Obrien, 66, of Lake Ozark, MO, formerly of Casey, IL, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026 in Carle Foundation Hospital where she had been admitted the previous Friday. Sue was born December 15, 1959 at Monticello, IN. On Dec. 1, 2017 she married Charles Joseph Obrien at Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Surviving are her husband, Chuck; her mother, Janet G. Burson of Casey, IL; children, Peyton Chronic and Hailey (Travis) Hill and a granddaughter, Allison Chronic. Her father Dickie Joe Burson preceded her in death. Sue was a graduate of Casey High School and Lakeland College. A true animal lover, especially cats,she also loved her trips to Florida. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church at Lake Ozark, MO. Sue was a true and loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs. Private graveside services will be held at Washington Street Cemetery at Casey, IL with Deacon Jim Hankins of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church officiating.
