Violet M. Wallace, 85, of Marshall, IL passed away 2:30 AM Thursday, August 18, 2016 in the Casey Health Care Center at Casey, IL.

She was born Oct. 3, 1930 in Clark Co., IL, the daughter of Leroy Clifford and Ida Belle Wieland Morgan. She was married to Sam Wallace who preceded her in death on June 13, 2009.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol (Walt) Slater of Marshall; a son, Charlie Wallace of Marshall; a sister, Freda Swift of Carrie, IL; a brother-in-law, Woody Wallace of Marshall; 3 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ella Cook.

Violet was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene at Casey.

Services in honor of her life will be 2:00 PM Monday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Ebbler officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery.
