Wilma Jane (Frye) Kuhn, age 81, went to be with the Lord at 2:20 PM on Friday, March 16, 2012 at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Edgar County on August 31, 1930, the daughter of Leslie L. and Vera Marie (Leasher) Frye. She married Clayton E Kuhn of Marshall on June 25, 1948 in Clark County. She is survived by her husband, five children Debra (Larry) Dickson of Marshall; Curtis (Mary) Kuhn of Grand Prarie, TX; Sheila (Kevin) Davidson of Marshall; Darrell (Kathy) Kuhn of Marshall; and Vanessa (Danny) Pinkston of Parksville, KY: 13 grandcildren and 13 great grandchildren: Jasonand Kristen Kelly, Anne and Oriion; Daniel Kuhn; Aimee and Allen Smith; Iain and Lachlan; Leslie and Russell Moran, Russ; David Kelly and Fiance April Scott, Autumn, Ethan, Logan and Anthony; Lucas and Toni Floyd, Alexis and Haley; Matthew and Sarah Davidson, Xander, Raylee, Ezra and Zoe; Charity and Abdiel Palafox; Aaron and Delonda Floyd; Kristen and Ryan Sullivan; Jordan Davidson; Justin and Joy Kuhn and Amber Kuhn; and many nieces and nephews. Wilma is also survived by two sisters, Pauline Beauchamp of Paris and Darlene (Max) Elliott of Union, MI, two step sisters and one step brother. She was preceded in death by her mother Vera Marie Leasher, her father Leslie Frye, her step-mother Undine Eldredge Frye, her brother Earnest Eugene Frye, and one step-sister. Wilma was adevoted wife and mother who enjoyed being involved in church activities and spending time with her family. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She practiced hospitality and always opened her doors to those in need. She was retired from TRW and Charles Industries in Marshall, She was an active member of the Marshall Church of Christ and also attended the Paris Church of Christ. Wilma was loved and cared for by her caretakers Dawn Mead, Marilyn Duzan, Kay Adams, Kathy Cox, and previously by Kay Martin, Teresa Brewster, Marilea Plew, Janice Wallace, and others. Celebration of her life will be at the Marshall Church of Christ on Monday at 10:00 AM with Gordon Wonsey, minster of the Paris Church of Christ Officiating. Vistitation will be Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall and also one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Burial will follow at the Marshall Cemetery.
